1948 directed by Orson Welles starring Orson Welles, Jeanette Nolan, Dan O'Herlihy, Roddy McDowell and Edgar Barrier. Welles' low-budget rendition of Macebeth filmed in twenty-three days for Republic Studios. Welles had his actors pre-record their dialogue with Scottish accents, which the studio later cut.
