The Seven Deadly Virtues (Happy Birthday Em!)

Two birthday vids in a row 0.0 Oh well, it was fun! This is for my older sister, shadowluver3000. She was obsessed with this song when I started it, so I hope she still likes it ^^ I found some awesome villains to go with the song, but no, I don't find Nekozawa to be evil! Em just wanted him to be in it. Animes: Ruroni Kenshin, Inuyasha, Yu Yu Hakusho, Bleach, Ouran High School Host Club, Final Fantasy VII, Full Metal Alchemist, Wolf's Rain, Tokyo Mew Mew (I ran out of ideas around here XD), Naruto, Tales of Symphonia 2: Dawn of the New World. Fright Night Part 2 (1988) Part 5

Welcome to Fright Night for real...AGAIN! The fearless vampire killers are back in this entertaining and faithful sequel to the beloved 1985 vampire classic. Horror-fan Charley Brewster (William Ragsdale) returns as well "The Fearless Vampire Killer", Peter Vincent (Roddy McDowall) to take on a vicious vixen bent on revenge! After staking his charming yet blood-thirsty neighbor Jerry Dandrige, Brewster becomes convinced by his therapist that vampires don't exist, and that there is a rational explanation for everything. As soon as Charley tries to put it all behind him, a mysterious "performance artist", named Regine (Julie Carmen) moves into Peter Vincent's building. Charley becomes convinced she's a vampire and returns to the terrifying conclusion that vampires do exist. He once again enlists the help "of an old friend", Peter Vincent to once again fight the forces of darkness as long as his show's ratings don't take a nose dive. Charley soon realizes that death is sometimes betting than becoming one of the undead. As the hours draw near can Peter and Charley's girlfriend Alex (Traci Lind) save him from becoming one of Regine's undead tortured slaves?

1964 The Price is Right

To the best of my knowledge, this episode of The Price is Right was broadcast on Friday, July 24, 1964. It was filmed earlier in the week. This is the entire episode and the story behind it (for me at least) is below. 00:00 Opening Announcement 00:33 Bill Cullen's welcome, introduction of Roddy McDowell and contestants 02:41 First Item - Ford Econoline Travel Wagon 07:15 Polident Commercial 08:15 Second Item - Entertainment Center 12:37 Sweepstakes Winner Drawing 15:22 Lark Commercial 16:22 Third Item - Living Room Set & Piano (Bonnie's appearance) 21:16 Poligrip Commercial 21:46 Fourth Item - Diamond Ring 28:24 Closing and Credits When my parents were married, they took a honeymoon to New York City. They had tickets to The Tonight Show and The Price is Right. At the Price is Right, they had to fill out a card, but did not know it would be used by celebrity guest Roddy McDowall to select the audience members he'd be playing for. All the time growing up I heard the story of how he picked my Mom's card, and when he read her new, married name, it didn't register right away that they were calling her, so my Dad had to jump up and say 'Here she is!'. Roddy played well and won a living room set for her. Then the bonus bell rings, you can hear Bill Cullen getting word that it's her honeymoon so he asks the right question. The bonus ends up being a piano. I alway wanted to find a copy of this show. I knew it had made it on tape because they got home from their honeymoon and were ...

Poseidon Adventure - Benny Hill

Not a very original idea, considering the videos on YouTube, but I thought I'd give this Benny Hill thing a try with my favorite movie, The Poseidon Adventure. In the water, I'm a very skinny lady. The original "Poseidon Adventure" starred Gene Hackman, Shelley Winters, Jack Albertson, Stella Stevens, Ernest Borgnine, Roddy McDowell and Red Buttons. It was directed by Ronald Neame, with action sequences directed by Irwin Allen.

A Hora do Espanto - Canal Cinema

Original ending to Conquest of the Planet of the Apes

After Caesar delevers his speech, the Apes raise their rifles to Breck to beat him to death. Lisa then says " no ", the second ape to speak other than Caesar. And then Caesar makes another speech showing a degree of mercy. This left test audiences with the hope of peaceful co-existence between apes and humans. This was also done in hopes the movie would get a "G" rating by the MPAA. But with the violent dark side, it got a PG rating. However the ORIGIONAL ending consisted of Caesar making his speech then the apes proceed to beat Breck to death with their rifles. The test audiences reacted badly to this so the studio re-edited the ending with the existing footage. The re-dubbing consisted of Lisa saying "no", and Roddy McDowall's new speech of mercy. Fox Movie Channel shows this ending and it is found on the 5-disc Blu-ray Disc set to commerate the 40th anniversary of Planet of the Apes which shows a more dark violent battle with more blood which was cut in favor of the PG audience. This version is yet to be realeased on DVD.

The Tempest (1960 TV) Maurice Evans + Richard Burton 1/8

sure, this production suffers from many cuts and "simplification" of Shakespeare's language--but some fine performances! Maurice Evans (3 June 1901 12 March 1989) was an English actor acclaimed for his Shakespearean performances in the 1930s and 40s, most especially some famous productions on Broadway, and his pioneering television Shakespeare productions in the 1950s. But he is even better known (in America) as Samantha's father on the sitcom "Bewitched" and as the Puzzler on "Batman". Maurice Evans ... Prospero Lee Remick ... Miranda Roddy McDowall ... "Messaline" by Aleister Crowley (poetry reading)

He wanted to be Chess Champion of the World, and there's no doubt that he was a very good player. He was called "The Wickedest Man In the World." by the press, which amused him no end. He lived a full, interesting life but it's hard to take anything he said seriously. He was very intelligent and a great showman, but his life and work is marred by an overwhelming desire to astound people. Messaline is an architype of female lust. Valeria Messalina (20 48) was a Roman Empress, wife of Emperor Claudius. Her promiscuity was such that psychiatrists named a syndrome after her: Messalina Syndrome is a form of nymphomania. Crowley said that Queen Elisabeth was a Messaline. Pliny records her all-night sex competition with a prostitute. Here she is in "I, Claudius" uk.youtube.com Juvenal said of her in Satire VI: "Then, her black hair hidden under an ash-blonde wig, she'd make straight for her brothel, with its stale, warm coverlets, and her empty reserved cell. Here, naked, with gilded nipples, she plied her trade, under the name of 'The Wolf-Girl', parading the belly that once housed a prince of the blood. She would greet each client sweetly, demand cash payment, and absorb all their battering - without ever getting up. Too soon the brothel-keeper dismissed his girls: she stayed right till the end, always last to go, then trailed away sadly, still with burning, rigid vulva, exhausted by men, yet a long way from satisfied, cheeks grimed with lamp-smoke, filthy, carrying home to ...

Fright Night Part 2 (1988) Part 4

Thunderhead: Son of Flicka (1945) 1 of 8

This is the sequel to the classic My Friend Flicka, with Roddy McDowall reprising his role as Ken McLaughlin, the son of a horse rancher. Sired by a notable racehorse stallion, Flicka's colt, initially named Goblin because he's so wild, gives his young owner quite a task in breaking him in. Still, Ken believes that the white colt has what it takes to be a champion racehorse and trains him, but an injury ends the colt's promising career. However, Thunderhead brings good fortune to his family in another way, although in the end Ken makes the difficult decision to let him remain wild.

Wonder Woman - Deadly Arrival (part 1 of 2)

This is a piece of work that I did for a module in Wolverhampton University. Its not written by me - it's taken from a wonder woman comic strip, which we had to perform on stage with whatever we could gather - cardboard box city scapes, bed clothes for cloaks and all that. I made the video myself - all my team had to do was learn the actions and record the dialogue. There is no live action in the movie because it was mimed to on stage. But the audio and the background pictures should give an adequet idea of what is going on. I'm not a massive fan of wonder woman - I've never watched it. But I do like to go epic with my work. Do enjoy

Wind in the Willows. Rankin/Bass (1987) Pt. 1

Wind in the Willows. Rankin/Bass (1987) Pt. 1 This is Rankin/Bass's animation adaptation of Wind in the Willows. The film was animated for television and was finished in 1985 but was delayed several times and eventually aired in 1987. This is one of the most faithful renditions of the original story, and has great animation in it. It also features great voice work from Charles Nelson Reilly and many late greats, including: Eddie Bracken, Jose Ferrer, Paul Frees and Roddy McDowall. Wind in the Willows was produced by Rankin/Bass Productions, distributed by Warner Brothers (VHS video) and ABC (when it first aired on tv) and was based on the novel of the same name written by Kenneth Grahame. They own it, and I don't....so there. XP If you like this movie, go and read the book! Enjoy the movie!
